The IC-M510 EVO is a multifunctional and stylish VHF marine transceiver that also features innovative smartphone operation technology. Its built-in class D DSC provides essential maritime communication, supporting safety on the water. Integration with built-in NMEA 2000™ connectivity and two-way hailer/RX hailer functions enhances the experience at sea even more.
Simple remote control through a smart device enables an unprecedented onboard communication experience. In addition, the product features a color display, navigation functions, and a stylish design that won an iF design award. It can be used for pleasure boats, fishing boats, and sailing, as well as in rescue and public safety. *AIS receiver not included in the M510 EVO 41
NMEA 2000™ and Loud 25 W Two-Way Hailer/20 W RX Hailer Now Built-in: The NMEA 2000™ network provides plug-and-play data communication to inter-connect with other marine equipment such as an MFD (Multi-Function Display.) The radio can send GNSS (GPS) position, AIS information*, DSC call, and radio channel data to other equipment.
When connected to the optional SP-37 speaker horn, users can talk with the crew on the deck or shore via the radio's microphone and hear any reply via the horn speaker. The RX hailer function lets users listen to the radio traffic on the deck or tower through the hailer speaker. Users can also sound foghorn patterns from the hailer speaker.
Radio Control & Intercom Through Smart Devices: Use the RS-M500 app (for iOS/Android) to wirelessly control the IC-M510 EVO through the radio’s WLAN feature. Users can use up to three smart devices as a wireless microphone, intercom between a device and the M510, and a simple remote control for specific functions.
Award Winning Sleek Design - iF DESIGN AWARD 2022: The IC-M510 series (including the IC-M510 EVO) is a winner in the world-renowned iF DESIGN AWARD 2022. The radio can be installed in either panel or trunnion mounting and has a sleek design that looks great on a boat's black glass cockpit dashboard.
Wide Viewing Angle Color TFT LCD: The color TFT LCD provides nearly a 180-degree viewing angle. The wide-viewing-angle display has high-resolution characters and function icons. Hold down the DISP key to switch the night mode screen, ensuring good readability in low-light conditions.
Built-in Class D DSC, “Distress” Button Can be a Lifesaver in an Emergency Situation: With just a press of the “DISTRESS” button, the built-in DSC (Digital Selective Calling) system can digitally transmit distress information to the Coast Guard and/or other vessels. The DSC watch function continuously monitors the DSC channel (Ch. 70) for added safety and security.
15 W Speaker Provides Clear and Loud Audio: The built-in waterproof speaker enhances the received audio and provides powerful, clear audio.
Simplified Navigation Function: The navigation function guides users to a specified waypoint or AIS target. Users can assign up to 100 destinations as waypoints, such as favorite fishing spots or starting positions for yacht races.
Combined with MA-510TR Supports Safer Navigation: When connected to the optional MA-510TR Class B AIS transponder, users can send and receive real-time information about vessels, including identity, position, speed, course, and other relevant data, displayed on the screen. Making a vessel's position known to others helps prevent collisions and accidents, especially at night, in rough weather, or on crowded shipping routes. The MA-510TR enhances safety during navigation at sea.
Active Noise Canceling Technology: The Active Noise Cancelling digitally removes background noise from both transmit and receive audio and provides clear communication in a noisy maritime environment.
Other Features:
Integrated GNSS receiver (selectable from either internal GPS antenna or use optional UX-241 GNSS antenna)
IP68 advanced waterproofing (1 m depth of water for 60 minutes)
Voice Scrambler with optional UT-112A
AquaQuake™ prevents audio degradation from a water-logged speaker
Supplied HM-205RB speaker-microphone can be connected to either the front or rear panel to meet to user's requirement
