Xi5 Trolling Motors are distinguished by a stealthy-quiet design and easy wireless steering. Saltwater models include a handheld wireless control fob. Steering is made easy from anywhere on the boat.
The convenience of wireless steering is complemented by an LED dashboard in the controller, which gives you the ability to quickly check the status of four key functions: Power ON/OFF, Propeller ON, Pinpoint GPS System Active and green/yellow/red LED battery status indicator.
Designed for years of trouble free service, saltwater models include an all-new composite shaft that can take on any and all obstructions that get in the way. The shaft will flex, but it won't break—and it is backed by a Lifetime Warranty.
Durable features also include a sophisticated steering transmission that delivers quiet, dependable, precise performance. Steering transmission features include wear-reducing ball bearings, custom seals to keep water and dust out and an extra-rigid shaft support tube. Durability is further enhanced by high-efficiency electronics that are fully encapsulated in a high-tech coating, making them impervious to water and dust. There's also a protection circuit that prevents lower unit damage if the prop is stalled.
Saltwater models are specially coated against the effects of saltwater and incude anodes to prevent galvanic corrosion.
