Propspeed Etching Primer Base and Hardener are part of the Propspeed System, which is a non-toxic, foul release coating that promotes more speed and less fuel usage by preventing marine growth from bonding to metal surfaces below the waterline. Propspeed helps prevent fouling of propellers, shafts, struts and more to give your running gear a long-lasting, ultra-smooth surface.

The Propspeed System: In addition to the Etching Primer Base and Etching Primer Hardener, the Propspeed System includes four additional components: Propstrip, Propclean, Propprep and Propspeed Clear Coat. Propclean and Propprep are a critical part of the metal surface preparation process for applying Propspeed. Both can be purchased separately. Before reapplication of Propspeed, all of the old Propspeed components must be removed. For this purpose, Propstrip is highly recommended.

NOTE: This product is the Propspeed Etching Primer only. Propspeed Clear Coat and other components are sold separately.
